Can you write a book review to help other children choose a book? Here's how:
1. Summary
Tell other children what the story is about in a few sentences. Be careful not to give away the plot!
2. Characters
Who are the main characters? What are they like? Do you like or dislike them? Describe them in a sentence or two for each person.
3. Enjoyment
Try to think of 2 or 3 examples of things that you liked and disliked about the book.
4. Plot
Does this book remind you of another story you have read before? Was it interesting?
5. Rating
Would you recommend this book to other children? How would you describe it to your best friend?
How many stars, out of five would you give the book?
6. Artwork
Draw a picture that reminds you of the book or that you think would be a better cover.
